1. Do I have to pay monthly for a membership?
ANSWER: You may want to purchase the first month to get started and look around. Now if you attend the SPEEC you automatically get 2-months free. After that, you get additional months every time you purchase a ticket to the event.
2. Does RSVPing guarantee me a ticket?
ANSWER: RSVPing to and an event just indicates that you would like to attend. Once you purchase a ticket then you are guaranteed a space at the event.
3. Why do I need a certification?
ANSWER: Completing a Level 1 Certification does many things. It shows us and others that you take your sexual health and fun serious. It also gives you a better understanding of CONSENT and BOUNDARIES. Which are crucial in the Sex-Positive Lifestyle as well as it is a liability for our company if you attend with comprehension of these basic concepts.
4. How do I volunteer?
Answer: You will have to take our Level 2 education course and communicate with one of our Level 3 leaders to be certified. At that point, we can schedule you as a volunteer.
5. What should I wear to an event?
ANSWER: Most of our events are themed. (Why-Because you can wear regular clothes every day of the week.) Step out of the box and dress in the theme of the event. There are only a couple of events a year where it is mandatory to dress-up. But we won’t turn you away for attending in your work attire. :(
6. When/how do I find out the details for the event?
ANSWER: Most of the details are posted on our site RisqueSoiree.com. Minimal details are posted on social media. The location and final details are always sent out the day before the event.
7. What does “Self-Care” entail?
ANSWER: Your body knows when to eat, rest, move and make love. It communicates your emotions and how we feel and connects us to others and the world. If you don’t feel like engaging in sex honor your body. Be conscious of your mental, physical and emotional state. Remember cleanliness, attend events showered and clean.
8. Do I have to get tested?
ANSWER: It is not mandatory but it is part of your Self-Care and Sexual Health. People who live a Sex-Positive lifestyle will usually ask about your recent test.
9. Does my physical appearance matter?
ANSWER: No! We are all inclusive to all body types and sexualities, including the LGBTQ+ community.
10. Will condoms, toys, lube etc. be provided?
ANSWER: Condoms and lube will always be within arm’s reach! Toys and other props/furniture will depend on the event you are attending. We recommend you bring a toy/play bag with you if you wish.
11. Do I have to participate/play/have sex?
ANSWER: No! Creating a Safe and Consensual space is our number one cause. You do not have to do anything you don’t want to. Please take our Level 1 Certification course to learn everything there is to know about this unique experience. (Have a hyperlink to the class ticketing page.)
12. Can I buy my ticket at the door?
ANSWER: No. Ticket sales end the day before the event unless tickets sell out sooner.
13. How do I get certified?
